Brief army lists

Post by Terrainosaur »

So for terrain I need to build: a necropolis, walls, a small ruined keep, several small tombs, a big tomb for Garhamenga, a chapel and finally a castle. The necropolis and walls are done. Not sure if I'll ever build a castle.

When playing games with my undead, here's what I take:

TYPE OF BATTLE, POINTS, LEADER, UNITS:
Mordheim -- n/a points, Baron Mogulus, two dire wolves, several skeletons and zombies.

Skirmish -- under 500 points, Baron Mogulus, dire wolves and skeletons.

Small Battle -- 500-1000 points, Baron Mogulus, small units of 5 dire wolves, regiments of skeletons and zombies.

Medium Battle -- 1000-1500 points, Baron Mogulus & Assistant or Vampire Count Garhamenga, same units as above but increase the size of the regiments and add in the Grave Guard and Spirit Host.

Large Battle -- 1500-2500 points, Baron Mogulus, Assistant & Vampire Count Garhamenga, same units as above but add Banshees, Wight Cavalry and Bat Swarms.

Monstrous Battle -- over 2500 points, Vampire Lord Garhamenga, Baron Mogulus & Assistant, same units as above but add something large like a Black Coach or a Zombie Dragon.

Additonal hill

Post by Terrainosaur »

The Necropolis is a little flat. I think most graveyards are built on flat areas, away from running water, so that makes sense. But I liked the idea of a hill with graves on top and one coffin visible as it slides down the hill.
