Fang Tower |
|
This is the home of my Vampire Lord. Fang Tower is 17.5" tall and the base is 9" wide. The body was made with the 4" and 6" Round Fieldstone Tower molds from Hirst Arts. The wrought iron gates are from the Gothic Dungeon Builder mold.

The symbols above the doors are Rosettas of Death by Scibor Miniatures. The shields are from Games Workshop Skeletons of course.

Here's a vampire on a standard 25mm base, showing how enormous the tower looks.

The tower was painted and drybrushed like normal, but this time I used Tamiya Weathering Master dust to change the color here and there. I also used Floquil Enamel Paint Marker (Grime) on the bottom of the fangs. The static grass is Honey Wheat and Burnt Grass by Woodland Scenics.

The walls are straight. I spent days going over the model, filling in every tiny crack and repairing every miscast stone. I used my Xacto knife to remove tiny bits of glue before painting. In fact after painting I used a Microline pen to darken cracks between some stones.

Here's the mighty Fang Tower next to the puny Magewrath Throne by Games Workshop.
I was moving things around for the photos and discovered the Magewrath Throne fits on top of Fang Tower. Pretty terrifying.

Did I mention it splits into two parts for storage?
